Delivery area

VMC-International delivers solar panels to mainland United Kingdom addresses. Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, and other offshore locations may be subject to additional charges or extended timescales — contact us for a quote.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are included in the quote we provide after reviewing your order request. There are no hidden delivery surcharges for standard mainland UK deliveries.

For large or bulk orders, delivery may be arranged via pallet courier. We confirm the delivery method and any access requirements before dispatch.

Estimated delivery times

Standard delivery to mainland UK addresses is estimated at 2–5 business days from dispatch confirmation. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed, though we aim to meet them consistently.

During peak periods or promotional events, dispatch estimates may shift. We notify you if any significant delay is expected.

Courier delivery and tracking

All orders are dispatched via reputable UK courier services. You will receive tracking information by email once your order has been dispatched so you can monitor delivery progress.

Solar panels are shipped on pallets or in protective packaging appropriate to their size and weight. Signature on delivery is typically required.

Insurance during transit

All shipments are insured against loss or damage during transit up to the full purchase value. If your panels arrive damaged, do not sign for the delivery without noting the damage on the carrier's paperwork.

Photograph outer and inner packaging before opening where external damage is visible. Retain all packaging until any carrier investigation concludes.

Failed delivery

If a delivery attempt fails because no one is available to receive the goods, the courier will leave a card with instructions for rearranging delivery or collecting from a local depot where applicable.

Incorrect postcodes or missing address details frequently cause failed delivery. Please double-check your delivery address at checkout. Re-delivery charges may apply where carriers bill us for second attempts attributable to customer-supplied data.

Access requirements

Solar panels are large and heavy items. Please ensure the delivery address has suitable access for a delivery vehicle. If you have specific access restrictions (narrow lanes, height barriers, etc.), let us know at the time of ordering so we can plan accordingly.
